Another 2 and1/4 inches rain the last 8 days and the lake only rose 1/8th inch the last 3 days. It seems that the remaining high elevation snowpack can't add enough water to make up for normal leakage and the water spilling over the dam. The level is a little higher than last year, but a little lower than 2017 and 2018. It seems unlikely that the City will remove any boards from the dam this year and that by the coming memorial day weekend the lake will start the inevitable drawdown we have each year.

Enjoy the coming holiday, but be careful. Lake temperature is still in the low 50s.
